  A very dangerous thing happen to us two weeks ago. It could have meant our life.

  two weeks ago mrs. add and myself was driving home from shopping on a side street when we came upon a man laying on his back with his arms spread out in a t formation.

  with no one in site we pulled over our van to help this person.

  mrs.add went for her phone to call 911 and i got out of the van to see what i could do.

  Blue dog we were so much in shock when the police came all we could do was just stare at them. The only one who put their hands up was the long hair guy. I must say the police were very nice to us and keep thanking and telling us what good people we were for staying and giving them a statement. One even told me how many never get involved. Overall it is nothing like you see on tv. Still Totally ADD

  Thank you all for your comments and recommendations. I will be very, very careful for now on and there is no drug cartel. It was a fight over a damn motorcycle. I guess it was worth killing over. So senseless. Still Totally ADD

  Morpheus and flipper you are so right. I have been kicking myself since it happen on why I just didn't get the hell out of there. Then I wonder if my old JW upbringing got in the way of thinking straight in other words trusting instead of being cautious. I realize my decision to stop and stay was a bad one. It could have resulted in my wife being hurt. It will be a day I will never forget. Hopefully it will never happen again.

  Still Totally ADD

  Two weeks ago Mrs. ADD and myself was driving home from shopping on a side street when we came upon a man laying on his back with his arms spread out in a T formation. With no one in site we pulled over our van to help this person. Mrs.ADD went for her phone to call 911 and I got out of the van to see what I could do. Half way to the man a person from down the street starts shouting to me to get the hell out of there because there was a women shooting a gun. I started running back to the van and about the time I was getting back in a long hair man comes running out of his house waving his arms shouting there was no f--king gun the man on the street just tripped and fell. He then goes up to the victim and starts shaking him telling him to get up. Noticing he had no gun I walk up to him and the victim. There was a large pool of blood on the street coming out the victim head.

  I said to the long hair man that looks like a a ot of blood for just tripping and falling to the ground. The long hair man then changes his story and tells me they was fighting and he push him and the victim fell. My wife had just called 911 and came up to where we was standing. I could see his brains coming out of head. Soon the ambulance was coiming but they stop down the street about a block away from us. We started waving our hands shouting here, here!

  Suddenly what appear to me 20 police cars pull up from all directions on us with the police coming out of there cars with guns drawn on us shouting where is the gun, who is the shooter. My wife and I was like deers in headlights just staring at them put the long hair man puts his arms up in the air. At that time I was thinking to myself "been there done that have you". They took him over to his house and stared questioning us. We soon gave our separate statements to the police and was able o go home.

  Getting home we both started shaking. For the rest of he day we keep asking ourselves what if the long hair man came running out of that house shooting what if this or what if that. It really has changed us in some way. Last week I was supoened to testify before a grand jury. Which I did. The long hair man has been indicted for 2nd degree murder. We was told both of us will be testifying at the trial. It was a hell of a thing to go through. I hope no one here ever has to. That is the story folks. We are both safe but we are doing alot of reflection on what happen. Let you know down the road what happens t the trial. Take care and be safe. Still Totally ADD

  Cart encounters this weekend.

  on weekend mornings i like to take my dog for a long walk at a nearby lake.

  recently there's been some cultists and a propaganda cart posted up along my walking path.

  until today i've ignored them.

  Yesterday at the farmers market where we have a booth for the first time I saw a man which looked like he was in his early forty and his son which I would say is around 14 walking through the market with a cart in toll. They was so poorly dressed I felt sorry for them. They stuck out like sore thumbs. The two of them had the biggest frown on their faces. My first thought was to run up to the kid when he was alone and tell him to run from this cult as fast as he can. Of course I did not but all i could do was pity the two of them. My thinking is all you would be doing is spinnng your wheels trying to convince them they are in a cult by questioning them. They are best left alone. Enjoy your life and when you can just show kindness to them. Still Totally ADD

  Why go back to the Old Testament?

  why do jws insist on still quoting from the old testament to back up some of their wacky ideas?

  such as on blood, beards, abortion, tattoos, etc.

  surely if the mosaic law code was nailed to the torture stake all of its parts were cancelled.

  Bad teachings for kids

  during my time in the cult i sometimes sat during a talk thinking why on earth are they talking about topics like this with kids in the audience.

  talking about sex and masturbation was probably the worst one i heard and my daughter was only 5 at the time.. what inappropriate talks or comments have you heard over the years that children should not be exposed to really?.

  Their views on sex is really a two edge sword. On one side they are telling people how evil certain sexual acts are on the other it puts new ideas into children and adults heads they never thought of before.

  When it came to their talks and wt studies on the big A it was the cause of many nightmares for many of us as children. I often wonder how many have experience PTSD because of those talks and wt studies you heard as children? Still Totally ADD

  i just love virtually any kind, from creamy and soft to brittle and sharp, from cottage cheese to the 'moldy' cheeses like gorgonzola.

  i like to try new things, so any suggestions for cheese varieties you have tried?

  neat blue dog last month I harvest 800 bulbs of heirloom Italian garlic from my garden. This Oct. I will plant about 1000 cloves. My garlic is the way garlic should taste. None of that tasteless garlic you get at the store. Still Totally ADD

  Son think about the accounts report that used to be given at the KH. I think now it is just posted on the information board. Read that account report you will find it is very vague. This started many years ago when you was a child. By them using the word simplify they started giving less and less information about where the money goes. As a example let' say X amount of money goes to the kingdom preaching work. In it self that sounds alright but are we really sure that's what it is used for? There is no accounting of it after it goes into that fund.

  I saw this happening years before I woke up and left. That is why it is so hard to track the money. This word simplify is a great cult word tool they use. Dad aka Still Totally ADD
